Sally Moffatt’s work is primarily concerned with the language of drawing. Working with traditional drawing media on paper Moffatt creates landscape drawings en plein air that embody Rousseauean values of simplicity and localism. During her residency, Moffatt will focus on the landscape around the Turon River, the Bridle Track and the Macquarie River, as well as in and around the village of Hill End.
