AMY DYNAN
Haefligers Cottage
1 – 26 December 2020
Amy Dynan uses the framework of beauty to explore the relationship between humanity and nature. Merging photorealism with abstract qualities, Dynan’s work documents moments of sublimity, movement and fragility in nature, celebrating the beauty of what we stand to lose.
As the environmental crisis becomes harder to ignore, alternate ways of framing our relationship with the land garner greater importance. During her residency, Dynan will create new drawings in the setting of Hill End to explore new aesthetic perspectives on the social and environmental challenges confronting our land.
