Digby Webster’s residency will focus around developing his painting landscapes and portraits. Digby began painting ‘en plein air’ during a residency at Bundanon in 2014. The residency at Hill End will provide Webster with opportunity to develop ‘en plein air’ paintings, reflecting the unique qualities of the village. To further reflect Hill End and develop his painting, Webster will produce a series of portraits of people living in the village. While at Hill End, Webster will be supported by his parents and his art mentor Sandra Winkworth.
