DAN KYLE
Haefligers Cottage
Kyle’s unadorned and honest response to his environment reflects the understanding and admiration he has for his subject. He captures the tinder dry grass in the shimmering heat, the eagerly awaited dark southerly storms, the regeneration of Spring and the short cold days of Autumn. Kyle’s main objective during his residency at Hill End is to further explore these characters the landscape portrays. Painting and exploring along the Turon River, trying to catch the landscape as he sees, and most importantly, feels it.
